Facts on File Companion to Literary Romanticism 

 

Contributors are sought for the above book published by Facts on File (New York). The book is due for publication in early 2009) which aims to cover British and European works from the period 1780-1850 and which are typically given the label "Romantic."

Subjects include:
Author biographies and bibliographies (Blake, Wordsworth Byron etc, as well as lesser-known male and female writers)
Analyses of individual poems, plays, novels and non-fiction prose.
Literary themes and terms
Historical events and personalities relevant to an understanding of the Romantic period.

Contributors will be asked to write analytical essays of varying length for a college/undergraduate student audience (500-2,000 words). Deadline: 31 October 2007.
